Catherine V. Davis, a longtime resident of the Bronx and New Rochelle, passed away on November 2, 2014. She was 87.
Catherine was born on August 6, 1927 in New York City to the late William and Mae (McGlynn) Ferguson. She graduated from Cathedral High School, and she worked for many years as a social worker for the NYC Department of Social Services.

She is survived by her children Michael (Barbara) Davis, Brian (Eileen) Davis and Colleen (Paul) Gardephe; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and her brother John (Dolores) Ferguson. In addition to her husband Mickey, she was predeceased by her sister Peggy (Richard) Coyne and her two brothers Bill (Joan) Ferguson and Barney (Jean) Ferguson.

Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday 9:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to My Second Home, 95 Radio Circle Drive, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
