Brian E. Terhune, age 73, entered Eternal Rest on October 14, 2014. He was born on November 10, 1940 in New York City to the late Dorothy (Naughton) and G. Edward Terhune. He was a 1958 graduate of A.B. Davis High School, Mount Vernon, NY and Bryant College, Providence, Rhode Island, class of 1962. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for six years. He retired from Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., New York, NY where he was Vice-President and Corporate Controller. He then served as Chief Financial Officer of Iona Preparatory School, New Rochelle, NY until his retirement in 2009. Brian was a man of integrity, possessing strength of character and a strong work ethic. He had an abiding faith in Jesus Christ throughout his life. He is survived by his loving and much-beloved wife, Nancie (Dufficy) Terhune. They were married on September 10, 1966 in Holy Name of Jesus Church, New Rochelle, NY. Survivors also include his devoted son, Matthew and his partner, James Cinnamo of Los Angeles, CA, both of whom he cherished and was most proud; his beloved daughter, Colleen Williams and her husband, John, for whom he had great respect and admiration, of Katonah, NY, and three grandchildren, Caroline, Brian and Matthew Williams, who were very dear to him and three sisters, Dorothy Kelly, Barbara Schwartz and June Simonson. A memorial mass in his honor will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 12 noon at Holy Name of Jesus Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY.
