Mary T. Huffman, a longtime New Rochelle resident died on October 17, 2013. She was 97.

Mrs. Huffman was born on March 1, 1916 in New Rochelle to the late Angelo and Theresa (Gullo) Zaffino. Mary worked for many years in an insurance company she and her husband, Harold owned. After Harold’s death in 1993 she went on to work as a Customer Service Representative at Mobil Oil. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church where she served on their Altar Guild. She was a former member of the NY Athletic Club and was active in The Garden Club of New Rochelle. She was predeceased by her husband Harold G. Huffman, Sr. She is survived by her son Harold G. Huffman, Jr. ; her granddaughter; her sister Clara Schmalzigan. She is also survived by her devoted nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Tuesday October 22 from 10am to 12 noon at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle where a service will take place a 12noon. Interment will follow at Beechwoods cemetery.
