Albert J. Sausto, a Bronx resident, died on October 23, 2013. He was 82.
Albert was born on June 21, 1931 in East Harlem to the late Felice and Rosina (Medici) Sausto. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Claremont Council of the Royal Arcanum serving as Past Grand Regent, and was the President of the Belmont Community Center in the Bronx. He was predeceased by his wife the former Rose Francomano, who died on December 24, 1993. He is survived by his two children Joseph Sausto and his wife Eileen, Rose Ann Harrigan and her husband Thomas; his 4 grandchildren: Dina Latorre, Alana Sausto, Stephen and Matthew Santoro and his brothers Vincent, Anthony and Attilio Sausto.
Visiting will be Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday 11 am at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 1634 Mahan Ave., Bronx, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Charity of choice in his honor.
