Patricia I. Nardozzi a resident of New Rochelle, NY, formerly of Plantation, Florida, died peacefully with her family at her side on May 14, 2013 after a long bout with cancer. She was 52 years old. . Patricia was born in San Antonio, Chile to Matilda Irribarra and to the late Rigoberto Hinojosa-Alvarez.
She had worked as an office manager and an ophthalmic technician for many years. She also volunteered her spare time locally to animals as a wild life rehabilitator and because of her love for animals, on Nov. 21, 2006, she was asked to be a guest on the Today Show on NBC.
She was very devoted to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Rosary. Besides her devoted husband, Paul Nardozzi of 13 years, she is survived by her son, David Cutler of Boulder, Colorado, Jeremy Cutler of Columbia, SC, her mother, Matilda Irribarra and loving sister, Jacqueline Hinojosa Sleeper.
Visiting hours will be at the Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place in New Rochelle, NY on Friday, May 17th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Roman Catholic funeral mass is planned for Saturday, May 18th at Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:30am.
